Hotel Holt - The Art Hotel Reykjavik

This hotel is a hidden gem. Excellent customer service, old-world charm, and a quiet location. The staff is well-trained and goes above and beyond. Superb breakfasts, cozy and comfortable rooms, and a fine collection of Icelandic art. Free and reliable Wi-Fi. Definitely recommended for a unique and affordable experience.

Not obvious to find.

I loved the old-fashioned boutique vibe and the beautiful artwork throughout. The location was also perfect, just a short walk from the downtown area and the main attractions of this city. having a parking lot right next to the hotel was a huge plus. The staff, especially Juan at the front desk, were excellent. They were friendly, approachable, and professional, offering excellent advice on restaurants, tours.

Nothing not too like.

We loved the charming atmosphere of this boutique hotel with its quiet location and proximity to restaurants and museums. The Soley and Eco products, as well as the artwork throughout the hotel, were a nice touch. The front desk staff, especially Elaine, were friendly and helpful, providing suggestions and assistance with a warm smile. The room was spacious and had all the classic basics, making it a comfortable stay. The bath was one of the best designed we've experienced, providing a comfortable and enjoyable bathing experience.

Felt like visiting family, no reason to complain.

The hotel is well located in a quiet area close to the center of Reykjavik. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with separate seating areas in some. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet is excellent with a wide selection of well-prepared food. The hotel offers great fast internet and has a nice art collection on display.

Some soft furnishings and bathroom tiles could use some updating.

We loved staying in this hotel, which is situated in a quiet yet central neighbourhood. The hotel's room amenities were excellent, including air conditioning, in-room safe and mini-bar. The staff really worked hard and efficiently, although they were unable to keep up with the room service. We appreciated the free toiletries and electric kettle, as well as the flat-screen TVs and carpeted floors.

I must say, my recent stay at Holt - The Art was a delight. The location of the hotel couldn't have been better, just a short walk away from all the main attractions. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-heated, perfect for my stay in January. The breakfast spread was divine, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. The hotel's quirky art collection added a unique touch to the overall ambiance. Although the room was a bit warm, I was able to cool it down by opening the window. One minor drawback was that the fire in the bar wasn't lit, but that didn't dampen my experience. I highly recommend Holt - The Art for a nice stay in Reykjavik.
